Moonlitt wins Apple Design Award for Interaction
Apple recognizes Moonlitt for its elegant, intuitive approach to exploring the moon across Apple platforms.
Moonlitt, the moon tracking app by Italian independent software house Flipping Hues, has won an Apple Design Award in the Interaction category.
Every year, the Apple Design Awards celebrate outstanding apps and games that stand out for their design, innovation, usability, and technical craft across Apple platforms.
Winners in the Interaction category deliver intuitive interfaces and effortless controls that are perfectly tailored to their platform.
In its Apple Design Awards coverage, Apple described Moonlitt as a “brilliantly conceived app” and praised its simple elegance, broad platform support, and its "best-in-class Liquid Glass integration".

Created by Nicolas Mariniello, Fabio Pizzano, and Raffaele Fulgente, Moonlitt helps people understand, track, and plan around the moon through a refined visual experience designed for photographers, stargazers, and lunar cycle followers.
The award follows previous Apple Design Award finalist honors for Sunlitt in 2024.
